Return to competitive sport

We are so pleased to be able to return to competitive sport but wanted to highlight the following important measures that have been put in place so that fixtures can return safely.

1. We would like pupils to be driven directly to away fixtures where possible to avoid the complications of school transport. Private car-sharing is permitted under the Government guidance, as long as masks are worn and the group involved is consistent, further guidance can be found here: hiips://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-safer-travel-guidance-forpassengers#car-sharing.

2. We ask that you drop your child off in the front car park and don’t come on to site. Sadly there are no spectators allowed and this goes for our opposition schools too, who will be following the same protocols at their venues.

3. Before all fixtures there will be a member of staff at the front of school to meet the opposition and direct staff/students to the correct venue.

4. Any cancellations will be made early to avoid any unnecessary travel. We will fall on the side of caution with any poor weather but let’s keep our fingers crossed for a warm & dry summer term.

5. A small packed tea will be provided after matches and we are asking all students to bring a refillable water bottle with them to stay hydrated.

If there are any complications with accessing fixture information on this website or extra-curricular clubs here, please do get in contact with Mrs Catling (vcatling@stgeorgesweybridge.com) to help resolve them.
