Fixture Information April 2021

APRIL 2021

Welcome to St George’s College, Weybridge and thank you for visiting. Please find below a few pieces of information which we hope will help you navigate the school with ease and enjoy the sporting experience.

Parents/opposition coaches/minibuses should drop all players in the White House Car Park (A on the sports map) where there will be a member of the SGC PE Dept waiting to escort pupils and staff to the correct location for their fixture.

Currently we are unable to have ANY spectators onsite at fixtures. This will be reviewed when the country moves to the next step of the Covid lockdown easing programme.

There are currently no changing facilities available so all players should arrive changed and ready to play.

We will provide a simple packed tea for teams at our Home fixtures. However, we are unable to provide drinks, so all players should bring a refillable water bottle to ensure they do not get dehydrated.

Please ask a member of SGC staff which toilet facilities may be used before, during or after a fixture.

Our code of conduct asks that you please:

1. Encourage players to play by the rules and observe fair play.

2. Respect the opinions and decisions of officials, coaches and managers.

3. Support positively by praising the efforts of all participants, irrespective of the result.

4. Be a role model by recognising and applauding all good play.

5. Use appropriate language at all times.

All St George’s PE staff are first aid qualified. We also have a nurse onsite during the week.

The nearest local hospital is St Peter’s, Chertsey, which is just 7 minutes away from the College site and has a 24 hour Accident and Emergency Service.
